France-Montalivet 2008....
The Freeride World Championships in Montalivet in the
south of France could not have been better. Big waves, sunshine and
an impeccable organization marked the 10th annual Jet Jump Championships.
In the 2 categories, there were two champions. In the
Stand-Up category, it was the North American Ross Champion to defeat
the German pilot Marc Sickerling. They both performed amazing maneuvers
before the crowds of excited fans on the beach.
In the other category, the Sit Down victory went to
French pilot Pierre Maixent who defeated the Spanish competitor Bruno
Rosello. The next stop in Zarautz will bring a lot competitors wanting
to dispute the champions.
