> Vision of Jac J. Mouazan

12/22/2005

France's Representative of the IFWA, Jac J. Mouazan, could not appear in Brazil to attend the final stage of 7º Jet Waves World Championship 2005. He counts how Jet Ski became part of his life.

It's not by chance that Jac J. Mouazan is called Hell's Fish, beyond organizer on championships connected to Jet Ski, he also participates of competitions. Natural from Bordeaux, France, the athlete of 50 years practices the sport since 1991, year in which started as competitor. He counts on aid of the friend Le Diable, his trainer. His category is the Run Yamaha Blaster 1.

Mouazan counts Freeride, maneuvers with Jet Ski in the waves, jumping and surfing, has grown each year in France, despite the sponsorship still being difficult, mainly in the financial area. Bassin D Arcachon and Montalivet are his favorite places to train, to have fun, besides being the searchest places by the practitioners of the sport:

"Since that it has waves, any place is good for the practical of the sport before competitions", Mouazan reveals without forgetting to mention his favorite maneuver, the Back Flip (A complete 360 invert).

Coincidence or not, Mouazan's country is the cradle of Jet Waves championships, where everything begun, in the beach of Montalivet. In the beginning, he and his friends congregated to jump waves, when Michel Monpontet thought:

"Why not organize a race?"

Mouazan says there are only ten riders in France who only live of the Jet Ski. For him, doesn't exist a typical or definite rider's profile, it depends on the machine.

Remembering competition times, the athlete and organizer confesses that his favorite event of the sport is the Jet Jump Extreme, planned carefully by him, and he invites the interested people in a beautiful spectacle of maneuvers onto the waves to the next one which will happen in 2006:

"Jet Jump Extreme is my favorite one. I organize it here in France. Every race in Europe are directed to Freeride style, the most difficult category to be realized", he affirms.

Planning is not all in an organizer's life. Among titles and victories, he detaches the best moment in Jet Ski for him was during the conquest of the 2nd place in the World-wide Championship Raid Rally of Oleron, in 1995. Mouazan also was the world-wide champion of his street and, in 2005, 3rd placed in the French Championship:

"The greatest challenge he had already faced in his career was to remain alive", he tells.

Due to the innumerable commitments, Mouazan, France's representative of the IFWA, International Freeride Watercraft Association, regrets his absence in Brazil to participate of the final stage of Jet Waves World Championship 2005. Tchello's friend, Brazil's representative of the IFWA, he waits to come to the country in a new chance:

"I hope come back to Brazil. Jet is like having a great time with friends. We can count only with their sponsorship, but we hope to find some more and we wait Tchello", he relieves.

Without a special meal, Mouazan eats everything and advises the beginners the best form of surpassing themselves and reaching the victory is growing gradually.
